Which Singer or Group from the 80's or 90's Should make a comeback? I mean we have all these stars from back in the day releasing or have released CD's in the last few years or so.....But who from the 80's or 90's that hasn't made it back yet should try to release some new material? Former New Wave group? R&B singer or group? Maybe a rock band or pop star? And do you think they have the potential to evolve that old sound or can make something new and good? Some of you orgers are so deceptive.....using my styles like a contraceptive....

Did someone say New Wave? How about some new 'ish from Human League, The B-52's, and Devo? But yeah, this has been a good year for music, and for a lot of comebacks. [Edited 9/11/04 0:31am] NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

Though she's released albums and tours here and there; I think PAT BENATAR deserves a major comeback. Would also love to see one of my favourite groups FIVE STAR make a comeback!

I love the part on MTV where they brought them all together and after watching that I thought it would be cool if ALL the original members got back together to record something new. So who knows ! [Edited 9/11/04 10:29am]

Sa-Sa-Sa-Sa Samantha Fox.
She's been laying low in Europe for far too long. I heard she was working on a new album not to long ago, it even sounded like she went to New York to work with Full Force. I think she might be making a good living selling stuff off her website (mostly pics, some topless). Her last album was incredible but it was on an indie label and quickly went no where, not to mention out of print. That was 1998, not so long ago. I think she's a lesbain now (or at least has been in a long term relationship with a woman). It couldn't have been for publicity, it sure hasn't gotten her much here. Anyone here following her career, or is it just me every so often?

I'd like to see the Police come togehter again... 2 years ago they did perform together at the grammy's but that was one time only..
I guess it will never happen coz Sting and Andy summers are both way to arrogant for that. Another band i'd like to see perform again is Talk Talk... they made great music.. and.....The Time!!!! the beautiful ones, you always seem to loose

We're all on the same page. These fellas were superbad. Wrote or co-wrote their own material, played their own instruments and could sang their butts off. Doesn't get much better than that. tA Tribal Disorder

Colin Hay-or just Men at Work as a group, Colin's the frontman, and I've loved his solo work. Check out Man at Work, folks.
Billy Idol-Still holds up. Oingo Boingo-I've always loved them, and I know there's a slim chance in hell (if even that) that they'd work again with Danny Elfman scoring films-but here's hoping. Psychedelic Furs-classic, and still love 'em. Michael Jackson-Would be interesting to hear just for the sheer fact maybe he could have a music career again and not just a 24 hour freak show. He used to be great, and I think people still remember those days fondly, and wonder where Mike went. Maybe he could play off that, or at least go back to being a musician instead of a walking court case. The Smiths-Again, a dream given Morrissey's solo career, but with the way bands reunite for money these days, this one could be the one well worth it. Not a chance that it'll happen probably, but I wish. There's many, many more that I'm forgetting now, but I'll let ya know.
