songs with an air of mystery? I dunno.I'm not a literate man,but there are some tunes that have a little something strange/cool/mysterious to them.This is just what's on my mind right now:
night boat-duran duran tel aviv- the chauffeur- friends of mine- new religion- to look at you-inxs eyes w/out a face-idol fatal charm- don't needa gun- (idol's songs have this to a lesser extent) something in the water-prince annie christian- euphoria highway- dreamin' about u- god(instrumental)- mlk-u2 behind my camel-the police secret journey- shambelle- darkness- walking in your footsteps- does everyone stare- moon over bourbon street-sting i burn for you(live)- lullaby to an anxiouschild- the wild wild sea- when the angels fall- shambala-beastie boys something's gotta give- third stone from the sun-hendrix hell is around the corner-tricky ponderosa- christiansands- pumpkin- poems- Damn,there are a lot more than I realized!I could go on and on.Theses were the initial tunes i had in my head,though. Just thought about Bobbie Gentry's "Ode to Billy Joe". Song about this guy who jumped off the Talahatchie (sp?) bridge in Tennessee (?) in 1953. Why he jumped is a mystery. I think he also tossed something off the bridge too. I've always been puzzled by this one. I remember the tv movie with Robbie Benson. | |
