I haven't listened to the radio in years. Seriously though. The only time I ever did was when I was in the car driving, but I don't drive anymore so that's out. I catch some recent videos from time to time on VH1, but generally I am completely in the dark about most bands these days. Good! Judging by what my 20 year old daughter begs me to check out, you haven't missed nothing. Sheer garbage!!!

There are a handful of good bands out there I'm sure, but so far nothing really does it for me right now. I swear I wanna cover that F.V.K. song. The bourgeoisie had better watch out for me. All throughout this so called nation, we don't want your filthy money, we don't need your innocent bloodshed. We just wanna end your world. Well my minds made up. Yes, it's time for you to pay, better watch out for me. I'm a member of the F.V.K. Ok here's a "bad brains" trivia. What song did HR sing the recorded vocals from inside a county lock-up over the phone?

I'm really bad at trivia, but I'll take a wild guess.... "Sacred Love"? Shit, I don't know. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

So Minn, what's your favorite Brains Album or tune? Mine is "Rise" and "Hair" off of it. I know, I know Isreal Joseph I on throat over HR? But this stage in the Brains era, the musicians had progressed to such a degree HR was holding them back. I would had loved to hear the same cuts with HR on throat but in premier form. No one hits those high notes like HR. Long live "Brains"!!!

No one hits those high notes like HR. Long live "Brains"!!! I was right?! That was a guess, but actually not so difficult, I suppose. It has that muffled vocal, so that's why I guessed "Sacred Love". I haven't listened to Rise forever, maybe because of the lack of HR. My favorite album is probably the very first release (ROIR cassette). It's hard to pick one though, so I'll have to also say "Rock for Light" and I LOVE "The Youth Are Getting Restless" Live album. Their version of Daytripper is great. You know, I was watching the movie "After Hours" last night and I heard a Bad Brains tune in one of the scenes. I think it was "Pay To Cum".
Pretty cool. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.
