It's good to see RuPaul back. I used to watch his show on VH1 alot. And I remember he used to end his show with this line: "If you can't love yourself, how in the hell are you gonna love somebody else....can I get an Amen" As far as his music though....it's fun to dance to, when I do dance.

I heard the lead single from RuPaul's new album at a club in New York over the summer. WE WERE KILLING THE DANCEFLOOR WITH THAT SH*T!!!!! For about 9 minutes I was alive!

The track is called "Looking Good, Feeling Gorgeous" and it's the Gomi Mixshow version it's about 9:13 seconds long.

Ever since I saw her perform at the Interbelt, I kinda lost some respect for her. She had major attitude, not fun attitude, bad attitude. Word was she was paid VERY nicely to perform there, but that didn't stop her from collecting tips from the audience, then several times during the show complaining about people giving her 1's and 5's and not 10s and 20s. Then, the rest of the show, she performed at the back of the stage and avoided coming up to the audience anymore. The whole performance was very short, and she seemed real bitter the whole time. I dunno, just a very different person up close from what I saw on TV.

She may be one of the most mainstream drag queens but not necessarily the best. Check out Wigstock...

As embarrassingly faggy as it may be, I'm actually happy to hear this news.

Given all that's going on in the world, and how ridden with either political statement, materialism or nihilistic self destruction popular music's become of late, it's refreshing to know that Ru is just serving up good old fun.

Some of the stuff I've heard from her/him in the past wasn't bad (vh1 used to play Rupual videos back when they were dance music friendly and Rupual had a show). I listened to clips from this new album though and nothing impressed me. A lot of vocoder effects.

Ru's good, but anything she's put out since her first album has been disappointing. I listened to the samples of this album on her site and was kinda bored by it. She looks amazing, but as a drag personality isn't all that engaging. I'm a Lady Bunny kinda guy. That said, her comebacks to Mr. TV's jibes at the VMA's years back were classic!
