What's the release year of this? Subpar stuff doesn't generally come from Chicago...unless it's the Cubs.

Erma Franklin did the original and definitive version of Piece Of My Heart in 1967.
(Before Janis Joplin's in '68 and Faith Hill's in '93) Jackie Wilson (Lonely Teardrops)*** Gene Chandler (his version of Cowboys To Girls would have been nice) Barbara Acklin (Love Makes A Woman)*** Tyrone Davis (Turn Back The Hands Of Time)*** Lionel Hampton (Turn Back The Hands Of Time) The Chi-Lites (Have You Seen Her & Oh Girl)*** Major Lance (before Monkey Time on Okeh) Nice import set. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all." | |
