Today marks the 35th Anniversary of the Woodstock Festival !!!! I was there in 69. I'm amazed that I haven't met anyone else that was there too. Hard to believe it was 35 years ago. Never thought I would be this old and still so young. It seems like yesterday.
I was in my tie-dyed tee and my girlfreind was in her peasant dress and ballet slippers We rode up on a Triumph Motorcycle , The music through the night; (Sly Stone ,Jimi and Janis .....etc;) , the "pig farm"; the "rain"; the trail through the woods; and of course - the lack of sanicans!!!!! WE SURVIVED! Peace,Love,Happiness And Music!!! Here I am, you lucky people!
I know a thing or two about a thing or two!! www.ymdb.com/user_top20_v...rsid=16838

I wish I was there!!!!!
But unfortunately I'm only 29 and was not born until '75. I'm pulling out my Joni Mitchell 'Ladies of the Canyon' out now and listen to 'Woodstock'....such a beautiful song and a shame that Joni could not attend to sing it at the actual festival! "....and we got ourselves back to the garden" Every minute of last night is on my face today....
