OK, so there is a boy I'd like to make a cd for. I'm gay and not QUITE sure if he is (don't roll your eyes, he's rather friendly). Anywho, whenever I make a disc for somebody, I ALWAYS include one Prince song. I'm just not sure as to what jam to put on this comp. I thought about "If I Was Your Girlfriend" (could be taken many different ways), but would like to know what ya'll thought. Also, if you have any other songs/artists to add, I wouldn't be mad. Thanx.

Ykno I think when I chose a Prince song for mixtape crush in junior high I put on either "The Beautiful Ones" or "Head" hehe.

I think "If I Was Your Girlfriend" is an excellent choice, but I would go with the shorter version found on The Hits if u have that one.

OR you could really try to hint at your past isolated incident and put "Kiss" on it hehe. Eh that's not a bad idea, plus er'rybody like that joint.

Nowadays, I'd probably go with "Crazy You" from his 1978 debut album For You.

OK obscure non-hit Prince track, I would definitely say "Crazy You". I think it's seductive and it has acoustic guitar on there so it would be a better fit with your white rock acts. hehe, even though it is soul.
