OMG! I just came from JAMES BROWN CONCERT...!!!!!

IN EXTACY! Last night he had his first concert in Prague. His band was THE BEST!!! Each member of the band could be a superstar on their own! I´ve never heard anything like that! The age average of his band was quite high, yet they played as if they were 20 years younger! His backing singers had the most amazing voices you can imagine - strong and beautiful as Whitney for example, but they were wild onstage as Tina Turner! When his great 2 dancers started to sing you also couldn´t believe what was coming out of them! And James Brown? At the age of 71? Man, we can all dream of being in the same shape at his age!
I mean, it was just phenomenal! If you´ll, guys, ever have the chance to visit his concert, do yourself a favour - you won´t regret it! It has been probably the stronges MUSICAL experience of my life! GOD BLESS YOU JAMES!!

Exaclty, I saw him in Bonn here in Germany a few weeks ago and it was simply mindblowing! This guy still has the moves and the power to rock an audience like no one else! Granted, he's not swirling across the stage anymore like he used to, but damn...just look at other people his age...he's tha man, period! cool

I live in Utah, when's the soonest that he's coming anywhere near me?

Also, can anyone point me in the right direction in terms of James Brown concert videos? There's a lot out there, which ones are the best worth having?

I did see James in november 2003, and it was not good. Most of the show he stood with his back to audience and looked very tired. Went home after 30 min. What a waiste of money.

Sorry about that. He obvisously didn´t have "his day".

Czech republic. But it´s the same distance for me to travel to Prague or Vienna, so I though if he came to Vienna, I might go and see him again some time, plus I know people who missed the Prague show and would like to see him.

Bummer!
The show I went to a couple of months ago was HYPE!! If he's on, he's ON and His band is TIGHT!
He is mad old now and still doin a lot of travellin/performing so he's gonna have an off night here and there but....
If you get the chance my advice is to get a ticket and hope for the best, may be the last time...

Peace
Music, sweet music, I wish I could caress and...kiss, kiss...
