How come every time I look for records I find..

a Heintje album..



y'know, 60s singing dutch boy, recorded in Germany, popular in Austria (and apparently CANADA). I swear I haven't gone diggin' anywhere in Alberta, Canada without this kid's face showin' up.

A band from my province even made a mock-up album cover with one of Heintje's, although in questionable taste...



It was funny to me though just to see this weird phenomenon of Heintje being recontextualized.
