Morrissey - Your Arsenal

It is very hard for this cassette to leave my walkman right now. This is definitely one of Morrissey's best (perhaps THE best!). It shows a more angry, vicious, and hard rocking side of Morrissey! The songs are a mix of Rockabilly, Glam Rock (the album was produced by the late Mick Ronson of Bowie's group), and his signature Alternative/Jangle Pop. Some of my favorites on this album are: "You're Gonna Need Someone On Your Side", "You're The One For Me Fatty", "We'll Let You Know" and "Tomorrow".

Next week I plan to get my Morrissey tickets for his Radio City show coming in October. I really hope he plays some tracks from this album, cuz they kick ass!!!!! thumbs up! woot!

I'd say it's his best solo album by quite a margin. The raw performances and production elevate this record over everything else he's done on his own, though the songwriting is a little shaky at times.

I recall a performance of Glamorous Glue on an American television show around this time - Letterman? SNL? - that was extremely impressive as well...

Hi , I don't like the production too much , my favourite tracks are the touching Seasick and Tomorrow ( & the terrific Bside Jack The Ripper!)

One of his three best solo albums. Enjoy the show. He might do "I Know It's Gonna Happen Someday".

He might do "I Know It's Gonna Happen Someday". I forgot this one it's a great ballad, too bad the production sucks imo

But there IS a softer side of Metallica. Just listen to their albums after 1991.
