I don't remember "Garbage Can" but I do have their 1976 album. I was VERY surprised when I bought the album and looked at the back cover. One of the members of The Soul Train Gang was a local choreographer from my home town of Jackson, MS, the late Hollis Pippin. Hollis danced on a local black dance television show here in Jackson called "Black Gold" which, in my opinion, put "Soul Train" to shame. Hollis also won the competition both times here in Jackson and went to dance on "Dance Fever". He also was a contestant on "Puttin' On The Hits". I was VERY surprised to see that he had any type of affiliation with "Soul Train". I am very impressed. He was a bad man until he gave into drugs.
Anyway, enough of me bragging about someone from my hometown, the tracks on The Soul Train Gang album I have are as follows: That Certain Way Ooh Cha How Much Longer All My Life (I Wanna Live With You).....featuring Hollis Pippin Soul Train Theme If It Takes All Night Country Girl Soul Train Theme Andy is a four letter word. | |
