Just what is "Jam" about anyway? I really think Dangerous is his hottest album ever. I've been listening to this song for years and I still can't figure it out. It's quite a quirky, interesting piece of poetry -- is he saying that we need to revert to the simplicity of music to solve the world's problems?

I read somewhere that 'Jam' was actually just a poetry, and mj has actually written it for his poetry book Dancing the Dream. Then Teddy Riley seen it and asked mj,bruce swedien to compose a melody for it. and that how it made the album.

I don't even know 'Jam's dictionary meaning That's what i read 2. It's basically him getting his fustrations out through dance. Straight Jacket Funk Affair
