It's too bad they don't have those "Super Oldies" Classic R&B shows in your area. You would go crazy over these concerts! I've seen the Delfonics a few times, and throughtout the years I've also seen...
Barbara Mason Barbara Lewis Deniece Williams The Intruders (all new members) Tierra Malo Evelyn King Mary Jane Girls The Dramatics Blue Magic The Stylistics (lead singer STILL sounds great) Billy Paul Al Wilson Gene Chandler War The Temprees Bloodstone (these guys are at almost every show, lol) Rose Royce Peaches And Herb The Larks James and Bobby Purify The Gap Band Roger and Zapp Anita Ward The Floaters (they sucked) Barbra Lynn The Delfonics don't sound as good as they used to,but they still put on a pretty good performance.I also recall the time Barbara Lewis performed, and she was totally off...lol...but you gotta love her. "It seems like a mighty long time...shoo bop shoo bop my baby" I can't wait to go to the next show.

Russell Thompkins is alive and well. He sometimes posts on a forum at www.soulfuldetroit.com. With Studio legends like Bobby Eli and Bob Babbitt.
It's an informative site in addition to the Org.

I guess you could post over there and say "Hey man, turn your s*** down and turn up the bass on Scorpio." Uh, I mean "Hi, Mr. Coffey. Are there any chances of you putting out a remastered version of Scorpio?"
