Don't Change/INXS Another cut that I adore is "Don't Change" by INXS. What a great group. They were like Chic and The Stones mixed together. Anyway, "Don't Change" came from their first U.S. album "Shabooh Shoobah" in 83 which also had "The One Thing" which was killing! But it's something about "Don't Change". The music is very, very cool. The song has a sad vibe to it which is what I think I dig about it. Hard to pinpoint, actually. That's why I threw this up here. It's not something obvious, and it's not a INXS song that gets mentioned from folks on the street. Anybody besides me likes this song? SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Hey yeah, I love this song too....but I disagree, this song IS the type of INXS song to get mentioned on the street.....at least in its homeland of Australia....hear it on the radio all the time.

Cool. Only refering to where I'm at in general. Conversation among people whenever INXS is brought up. People mostly mention other INXS songs. People in Cali anyways. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

However, I remember One Thing which was my jam. After thinking about, INXS really had some jammin songs. They did not get the recognition that they deserved in the US. Micheal Hutchenson death was definitely a loss.

I love this band and almost everything they did. Elegantly wasted was the last of it and I wore that cd out.
With the band's desire to find a singer through a reality show, I'm gonna act like their all dead. I want tot remember them for 20 years of great music.

I don't thank that its appropriate for them to search for another lead b/c Micheal was a brillant vocalist. However I will say that when they had Terrance Trent Darby join them for a brief time , they did sound pretty good. As it turned, Micheal TTD were close friends.

The groovy guitar parts don't hurt things either. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. INXS! INXS! INXS! INXS! .....God, they kicked ass live!! "Don't Change" was almost always left as the last song during a set - kind of anthemic with hope as it's core message. So many great songs.... (BTW, you guys rock!)

Their early stuff was great. Y'all should get their first 3 albums: INXS, Underneath The Colours, and Shabooh Shoobah.
And then once you hear those, I dare you to tell me that they're not New Wave. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.
