I used to be for ages. Still am really but I dont talk about it as much since I discovered other music styles. I found I was too broad minded to be into one particular style as I love too many others.
I love Metallica, Sevendust, Korn, Systems Of a Down to name a few but as I say, its not really my main thing anymore. | |

Yah I got into Prince about the same time I got into Motley Crue, now I hate Motley Crue and still love prince. Really strange how two of Prince's women have been with two of the guys from Motley Crue, Vanity was with Nikki SIxx and now Mayte is hanging with mr big dick Tommy Lee himself. Hmmmmm. | |

moderatorI love me some Motorhead and I'm diggin' Andrew WK...I wasn't crazy about all the '80s hair metal when it was popular, but most of it has aged so badly, it comes off today like disco did 10 years ago - fun and stupid and campy.

Man, where do I start! Well, my fav band is Slayer. I'm also a big Pantera fan. I'm more into Extreme Metal nowadays, but I love old school metal. Motley Crue is my favorite non extreme metal band. And to the person who said the new stuff sucks, New Tattoo is awesome! My other favorites are Anthrax, Alice Cooper, Slipknot, W.A.S.P., Sepultura, System of a Down, Dokken, Cinderella, and Disturbed. I'm not really into new bands except for Slipknot and Disturbed. Don't forget Korn, and another of my fave's Janes Addiction. Perry Farrell went on to form another band after they split, but I can't remember for the life of me what they were called. Can't find the CD either anyone remember what they were called. The CD had a spaceship on the cover if I remember correctly.  Some people are like Slinkies...

Metal RULEZ!!!! OK, so I'm not really as into it as I was when I was in high school, but i still love to throw on some of that old Pantara or Megadeth. Not so much into the hair bands (even if i know all the words to 'every rose . . .'), more like Rage and Suicidal Tendancies, vgallo6 just reminded me. I'm actively a Metallica freak (get better James!), Guns 'n' Roses, and of course a Sabbath fan. I thikn Korn and Biscuit have a few good licks (Korn more than Biscuit), but other than that none of the new stuff thrills me. I would also like to take this opportunity to say that Punk is the bane of the musical world and is no better than the machine pop of N'Sync and Brittany!!

I've just spent the last half hour lookin' and still can't it. But I did find some Megadeth, man I haven't listened to this for years. The vocals are absolute shite, but Dave 'ginger' Mustaine plays guitar like his pants are or FIRE. HE FUCKIN ROCKS!! I also found some Joe Satriani, who I think is one of the best guitarists in the world EVER, most of his tunes are cack but just listen to him play. IM BANGING MY HEAD AS WE SPEAK!!!! OUCH Some people are like Slinkies...
