Vertical Hold

Angie Stone and D Angelo do a piece called "Pray" from the 1995 Vertical Hold "Head First"
release, that's a must listen.Anyone down with them?It was funny to me how when Angie Stone came out with her first solo release that she was billed a new artist considering she did three albums as a member of the group Vertical Hold prior to that time.

Best song on the album IMO. D'Angelo's playing is just awesome.

nod It makes me wish he would do a song like that on his own LP. Just piano. Heard the piano versions of Spanish Joint and Africa? I know rhodes are his signature, but DAMN!!!

Vertical Hold is one of my favorite groups.
"Now That It's Over" is a nice joint.
Big beat. Catchy bass synth.
Way too funky!
