New music spotlight: Teedra Moses

OK I am feeling this chick. Maybe it's those Mary Jane drums lol, but she sounds like the real princess of hip-hop and r&b. wink

Her video and single "Be Your Girl" is hot!! Her album on TVT Records is called Complex Simplicity.

Her official website has a short embedded soundclip of her song "Be Your Girl" if you are curious. You can also peep her video too.

Holla if you are feelin' her track!

hmmm I've been debating whether or not to get this too. I'd really like to hear Raphael Saadiq's contribution before I decide.

psykosoul the Raphael song is really good, and even has a string arrangement (like some Under The Cherry Moon shit hehe).

Rest of y'all, don't sleep - at least peep Teedra Moses' single "Be Your Girl"

Her video is getting rotation on Vh-1 Soul. She sounds like Ashanti meets Christina Milian with a dash of Mary J. and Lysette thrown in.

I think her tracks are more sophisticated than your average r&b fare, and she's more sensual than Ashanti or C. Milian, whom I don't even enjoy a whole lot.
