You know,last Christmas I received a compilation of the Five Stairsteps greatest hits but I haven't even played it yet! LOL.The only song I know by them is "Ooh Child". | |

u shittin me dave?...uhave to check out thier cover of Dear prudence it was a B-side to Ooh Child.. quick lil trivia about them... they were 1st signed to Curtis Mayfield's Label "Windy c" befire being signed to Buddah, thier father was thier Bassist and manager, Yeah,on the CD that I have,it says that many of these tracks were produced by Curtis Mayfield.I'll have to check it out later today.Some more trivia...in 1980,they "re-invented" themselves into the Invisible Mans' Band and scored a huge hit with "All Night Thing".But you already knew that,right? | |

More trivia: In 1976 they reformed with just 4 and simply called themselves Stairsteps. Billy Preston introduced them to The Beatles and helped them get a deal on George Harrison's Dark Horse label.
