Do you have "The Bootsy Collins Anthology" ? It's 2 incredible sounding CD's of the best of most of his earlier WB albums.I would say that it's the best place to start as some of his WB albums havent been remastered as yet. If it's the albums you want regardless,I would say the following are great: "Stretchin' Out In Bootsy's Rubber Band" (1976) "Ahh...The Name Is Bootsy , Baby" (1977)remaster "Bootsy?...Player Of The Year" (1978) remaster "This Boot Is Made for Fonk-n" (1979) and look out for "Bootsy's Rubber Band -Live in Loiusville 1978" "...all you need ...is justa touch...of mojo hand....."

tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm Seriously, Bootsy is someone u should definately have in collection. If u have any love for funk, your thing would be massively incomplete without Bootsy. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

Yo, if you can find it, check out "Party on plastic", a 12'' released I think in the late 80s. Amazing...

Bootsy is just plain funkay!! Even his weak stuff has some brilliance. If you dig Prince you'll dig Bootsy for sure.
There is so much underground Bootsy also. The Sweatband lp(Bootsy,Maceo,Razorsharp and Carl"Butch" Small) on Clinton's Uncle Jam Records 1980 is a must have funk masterpiece. Check out Zillatron( A Bootsy alias) LORD OF THE HARVEST this lp is the shit!!
