Music vids u wish they'd show again!

I really wish they'd show some certain music videos again.....admitedly 4 me, most r from the swing era (late 80's-aearly 90's) but that's 'cause of my childhood.....

1) latoya Jackson "Ur gonna get rocked"..camp as hell, dark backstreets with some cool dancing from Toy herself.....love the look of this one.....think of "My name is Prince" but with really camp "Street" dancers! Very, very 80's!

2) Stevie b "Love and emotion"
"Pump that body"- should been big.....video was mega cheezy with zany special effects...good pumping song.....video was so cool.....

3) "Do the bartman"- The simpsons
4) "Opposites attract"- Paula abdul.....u remember, the cartton rapping cat etc.....he released an album.....I must find that one as i have it somewhere
5) "She ain't worth it"-Glenn medeiros and Bobby brown.....first girlfreind etc.....don't think Glenn was much of a dancer if i remember.....

6) "She drives me crazy"- charity single with Muppets, John Landis and celebrities.....video is awful..in a funny way.....check ozzy osbournes singling!

7) "baby don't forget my number"- Milli vanilli.....stoyyline in video is priceless

8) "This is the way we roll" Mc hammer..... a lot lesser known hammer hit...great dancing, Hammer always made good videos!

9) Superbowl 1993.....Michael Jackson performs at halftime show.....MJ at his peak.....intro was so hyped up....remember the flashcards to "Heal the world"?

Mine r predictable at the mo' as these r all from one era.....but this was the best era 4 music videos period!!! Anyway can u think of any?

Jeapordy - Greg Kihn Band - Yeah, they're a one-hit wonder. But this video rocked, it's like a mini-horror movie, above and beyond the lyrics to the song.

David Bowie - Fashion / Betty Davis Eyes - Kim Carnes - I vaguely remember these videos. Didn't both of them have all kinds of creepy monsters? I was really into horror movies when I was younger.

Quarterflash - Harden My Heart - I LOVEd this song, had it on 45 and wore it out. The video was real dramatic and stylized, a little bit like scenes from Suspiria.

Asia - Heat of The Moment - Before Velvet Revolver and Audioslave, there was Asia, nuff said. They used to play this video to death on MTV, with the big wall of televisions.

Mountains - Prince - I havent seen the full color version in YEARS.

Do The Bartman can be found on the Simpsons Second Season DVD which also has the video of "Deep Deep Trouble" nod

Opposites Atrract ALWAYS comes on, i dont know how u missed that video, now for a rare Paula video they need 2 play "Forever Your Girl" or "Knocked Out (babyface version)".
She also needs 2 release a DVD video collection.

Baby Dont 4get My Number, funny...my partner has this video and i got to record it off of his vcr while watching it. now THAT video is rare.

My list...

"I Didnt Mean 2 Turn U On" - Chrelle ( i was so little, but i remember King Kong reaching in and trying to grab her).

"The Dance Electric" - Andre Cymone ; I saw it the beginning of this year at a party for the first time in my life, but i wanna c it again..and i know i probably never will...

"The Screams Of Passion" - The Family ; I know i will never c this video in my life sad

Erotica - Madonna ...FINALLY i have this video..they actually played it in full on MTV2.

A lot of those Paisley Park videos will never see the light of day again.

I remember seeing the video for The Screams Of Passion on NY Hot Tracks back in the day. It had the band performing the song in front of a blue screen and images of the ocean or something was later superimposed behind them--not unlike the Mountains video if I remember correctly.

That video was ok, it had them on a boat on the sunset not too far off from the "Im Gonna Miss You" video by Milli vanilli.

I love that song though, one of the best there is of slow jams

I saw that video earlier this year on BET's Grown Folks Music (does that show still come on? Has it been canned?)

I loved "Sledgehammer," too. They used to show that all the time on the old VH1.

A lot of these videos they show on VH1 Classic. Some of them are corny and cringe-worthy now. I find myself thinking, "Oh ... mah ... God. Who knew these things would look so corny after all these years?"

To think the concept behind some of 'em was considered good back then. lol

"Abracadabra" by Steve Miller Band (1982) ---In the summer of 1982,when MTV was still new, this video was in heavy rotation.I vaguely remember it,but I do recall liking it alot back then.

"Stand Back" by Stevie Nicks (1983) ---the choreography was cool, and it was fun seeing Stevie in this colorful setting.....surrounded by trendy-dressed dancers, and singing a funky dance/pop track for a change.A big departure from the Fleetwood Mac videos.

"No Parking On The Dancefloor" by Midnight Star (1984) ---it's a simple video that shows the band and a bunch of dancers partying in the streets. But it's alot of fun,and there's even a Prince lookalike in it.Looks like a wild hot summer night.

"Papa Don't Preach" by Madonna (1986) ---since she is arguably the Queen of video, you knew I had to include at least one of her videos...lol...this one is tastefully done, and has a strong storyline.

The same could be said about alot of the music of the time. It amazes me that so much of the 80s is dated and corny , yet earlier decades still sound fresh .
