I Need Help With Sly Stone's There's A Riot Going On?

Ok, I was looking on amazon.com and I was trying to find a better copy of Sly Stone's 1971 release, There's A Riot Going On because the copy that I have is the disappointing US version that had the worst CD remastering ever. I came across two imports. There was the Sony Millennium Pop import and there was the 1998 import with the booklet and a digipak. They both have the 1971 cover with the flag. But I don't know which one is better. Personally I say the Millennium Pop version is better. I'm just so confused. And another question: I heard that there was a song on that album called There's A Riot Going On. Do you know what that song is about? I don't know because I never had the vinyl copy of this classic and I heard it was on vinyl and I think the 1998 import. Can someone help me out?

IMO, The Sony Millenium Pop import definitely has the better sound. The "song" There's A Riot Goin' On was listed as the 6th song on Side One of the vinyl LP after Africa Talks to You, The Asphalt Jungle. The silence is supposed to represent this "song" which I've always assumed to be some sort of creative irony: "Quiet Riot".
