im going to see bilal live next month at the jazz cafe, has anyone here seen him before, any good?

the thing that bugged me most was the fact that he tried to show off his voice on every damn
song. "vocal gymnastics" is what some people have called it. he just loses himself in his own
material; you can't really recognize the songs anymore, cause he fucks 'm up completely.
sometimes he does a song justice that way, but most of the time he doesn't.
