First, thanks to all the bands, audience who attended, and the TV production crew who worked on last week's two day TV taping. The musicians are to be highly commended for their exciting performances. I am really honored that they would participate on my show and give all their energy and time. The shows will air locally, online on our site and they are making a huge push for airing on a major arts TV network. Details in the near future on airings.

Here's the rundown:

Tuesday Aug. 3rd- 3 Bands performed

CARL BURNETT and his trio which includes himself on guitar, Tony Tino on bass and Will Calhoun of Living Colour on drums. Amazing jazz, funk, rock and blues fusion. All instrumental and torrid guitar playing by this guitar genius.

RIO SOUL- This Los Angles funk-R&B band stopped in on their Northeast tour. Fresh off winning a Soul Patrol award, they amazed the audience with a great show and excellent musicianship. Jesse Johnson's cousin, Andra Hines, is the keyboardist.

WHAT UP FUNK BAND- Bridgeport, Connecticut band brought the funk, rock and latin sound which has earned them rave notices. Their soundcheck was amazing too. You have to see this band.

Wednesday Aug. 4th

MYSTIC BOWIE & the PALLBEARERS- This band always leaves it all onstage with an exciting blend of reggae, funk and world music. They debuted new traxs from their studio album and "Fortune Teller" is off the meter.

Yes, we do intend to air audio as well on radio. Each band played about 30 minutes and then, we conducted an additional 25 minute interview. Now, we are in post-production for the next two weeks shooting additional outside footage which is cool.

From being in radio since 1982, I can know say that TV production is a whole different world. It is really exciting but altogether different.
