New samples from Joss Stone

http://www.s-curverecords.com/joss/

Now, I know ... I know there's gonna be some hate. But this time it's original material. I'm already in love with "Spoiled"... Hope the album contains a bunch of stuff like this.

Now flame away.... razz

No flaming from me, though I certainly got my share of it when I said how much I like her. She's great and has a lot of potential.

All three tracks sound good, and I agree -- Spoiled sounds excellent. Looking forward to this release!

Well, she's now attempting to sing "sexy". Personally, I'm completely bored by her. She sounds thoroughly disinterested and detached on each track (same problem I have with Norah Jones) - as if she's phoning in these perfomances. Whatever floats your boat, though.

I do like the reggae and folk influences they're incorporating on this record, however. "Spoiled" sounds a lot like Carole King, only without the heart.

I'm dealin' with your ill-informed opinion. Sounds like you had your mind made up before you listened. But whatever floats your boat.

Translation: "You don't like what I like. You suck."

Don't be ignorant. And by the way, how is my opinion "ill-informed"?

Well, it's obvious her singing style doesn't suit you. Doesn't sound any different than on her first album. No need to fuss about it - you're not gonna change my opinion and I'm not gonna change yours. doh!
