an adult contemporary video channel...i mean a station that would play a new Lionel Richie song,Hall & Oates,Prince,George Michael or Rick Springfield....it seems most of the 80's stars have been dumped to AC radio..so why not an AC video channel? it would seem the demographics for a channel like that would be good for advertisers and it would give older stars an outlet to show their new videos that would never see the light of day on vh1 and mtv

Back when VH1 first started, I think that's what it was supposed to be. Now it's just like MTV only with the 'harder' stuff removed.

How many music channels do you guys in the US have? I'm from the UK and my mum has digital TV. She has about 20 music channels. Magic FM is just like The Box but an extension of the radio station of the same name, and only plays A/C videos. There are about 3 variations of VH-1 and shit-loads of MTVs (Hits, Select, regular, MTV2, MTV Base etc.).

It's a shame that 5 of them are always playing the same video simultaneously, MTV Dance requires viewers to be braindead, MTV2 only has 3 artists' videos on rotation for any one day (normally Foo Fighters, RHCP and Marilyn Manson) and VH-1 has turned into a big pile of poo ever since they axed all the presenters with a personality and an IQ above 50.
