PMRC - Actual Audio From 1985 Yep, I just stumbled across an actual audio file from the PMRC in 1985. It's lifted from a cassette they made called "Focus On The Family (PMRC) - Rock Music Lyrics: Advice To Parents".
Its really of no interest whatsoever, except they discuss Prince a little. OOPS! Pardon the edit, but I forgot to put the link on... http://mediamogul.seas.up...s-1985.mp3 . [This message was edited Mon Aug 2 13:07:40 2004 by BinaryJustin]

I think the PMRC debate itself was of great interest and yielded some very entertaining moments.
Here's a link to Frank Zappa's insightful Senate testimony: http://members.aol.com/ma...rcfull.htm "I think you should leave it up to the parent, because not all parents want to keep their children totally ignorant." "Stupidity has a certain charm -- ignorance does not." ~~Frank Zappa Reporter: This is a personal thing, I think that if you wanted to make top ten hits and sell millions of records, you could. BUUUUUZZZZZ SAW!!!!
Don't you miss the feeling Metallica's music gave you back in the day? Now that Prince has crossed over to that side of the line, sorta, would he readily go along with those opinions of the PMRC founders? Jeux Sans Frontiers
