Scissor Sisters I first heard about this group earlier this year when they made a mix for the PSB's song "Flamboyant." Loved that. Ran into their album and gave it a spin. Their new album is hot! Yes, yes, yes. Disco meets rock -- who'd thunk it? I'm in love with... Mary Comfortably Numb (disco-y cover of Pink Floyd's tune...Jake's killing it with the Gibb-inspired vocals -- he has a great effeminate falsetto) Tits on the Radio (reminds me of the Robyn Bird show!) Laura (love the beat) Lovers In The Backseat Take Your Mama Out Music Is The Victim (so so so so so hot) This is Lower Manhattan rock for your a**! BUY THIS ALBUM. A good friend told me about them quite awhile ago. But then I saw their video. I'm not quite sure about it.
It seems like something I'd like but it hasn't caught me yet. It seems very Elton John-ish which is a good and a bad thing I guess.

Vocally, the lead singer sounds like Elton John and the Gibb brothers rolled into one. Then I hear some Frankie Meets Hollywood in there, too. The album is hot. Si Si Si.

THIS IS MY SONG OF THE DAY.
"Tits On The Radio" Creamsicle sky while the sun sets up in the west Where are the queers on the piers, heard they gave it their best Now they got jobs at a local fast food chain Flippin' tricks for the burger, since Lady M jacked their fame Flippin' tricks for the burger, since Lady M jacked their fame You can't see tits on the radio I'll give you five fingers for a one man show Fasten those pants for the lap dance Take a shot now this may be your last chance There ain't no tits on the radio (Oh no) There ain't no tits on the radio (Oh no) There ain't no tits on the radio (Oh no) There ain't no tits on the radio (No no) Dark room Danny can't see with the lights turned out Black haired tranny counts sheep with her bed turned down But the bed's in Jersey and the sheep's on a farm Dark room Danny hears police alarm Dark room Danny can't see with the lights turned out Dark room Danny can't see with the lights turned out You can't see tits on the radio I'll give you five fingers for a one man show Fasten those pants for the lap dance Take a shot now this may be your last chance There ain't no tits on the radio (Oh no) There ain't no tits on the radio (Oh no) There ain't no tits on the radio (Oh no) There ain't no tits on the radio (No no)
