Hey, long time no post. Sort of left this place getting sick of a lot of MJ bashing, but I loved reading everything else.

I saw them last night in LA and they were awesome! they sound much better live than on record!

tix for the Mpls show go on-sale saturday and I am def'ly going!

the venue they played in last night would have been SO easy to sneak a camera into.... the lead singer is practically naked thru the whole show, and has a flawless body!

YAY. Definitely gotta bring a camera. Hopefullt the battery won't run out like it did with Lenny Kravitz last month the second he jumped into the audience

i almost got their album today, but i opted for martina topley-bird's album and an ohio players best-of instead...i don't know what the scissor sisters whole deal is, other than the fact that they're kinda campy-hip and the lead guy used to work at i.c. guys in the east village. what's the sound like?

They sound like classic Elton John mixed with the Bee Gees! They do a hideous, yet interesting arrangement of Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb" (which really sounds like the bee gees).... i give them credit for coming up with an original twist on the song, but that song is really sacred to me and they should have never fucked with it (that's what i think)!

Their "single" 'Take Your Mama' reminds me of what "Daniel" would sound like if it was recorded today. Elton is a big fan, so they haven't offended him.

I'm thinking I will see them when they swing through town in September. I don't know their stuff well yet, but they've got great word of mouth.
