Planet Rock was a HUGE record when it came out. It was some "left turn" shit that was unlike anything else on the radio. I love "The Message" and the fact it was the first socially conscious hip hop record to go mainstream but Planet Rock is an eltro-funk masterpiece.
And give me "bring the Noise" over "The Show" any day Bringing Together Five Decades of R&B/Funk/Soul/Dance
