Guess who played on Van Hunt's latest album?

None other than the beautiful Ms. Wendy Melvoin. Check the album credits on all music.

What's with all these Van Hunt threads? is this guy/group really all that? Honestly not judging since i haven't heard the music but there are enough threads about VH - can we say Michael Jackson?

they were the one's Dres beat-boxed for during his set. Remember "Hon-ey, More Hon-ey"????? Remember the 2 skinny chicks that did their set a-capella even though there was a full band right behind them??

My take on Van Hunt: He needs back-up singers.
That'd distract me from the fact that he's glued to his guitar and won't dance unless the strings pop. Once his guitar was broke, he loosened up and started to clap and dance a bit. I thought to my self, "Now we're cooking with gas..."

His string popped?! eek

You know what...I really was not focused during that concert and it sucks because I clearly missed a lot of things going on. It seemed like I was running into everyone I had met my entire life at that park. Folk were talking to me while I was trying to watch the show. I was trying to find where one of my homegirls wandared off to...just too much \going on!

I only caught him do "Highlights," "Simply Beautiful," that lil' Sly Stone-like jam that featured elements of "Loose Booty" (which I don't think he was saying the "Shadrack" part correctly from "Shadrack, Meshack, Abednego", but nevertheless he was still jammin' dancing jig ), "Dust" and I think that's it. I walked off when he performed "Seconds of Pleasure" and heard some other song after that, but wasn't paying attention. When did the guitar string pop? falloff

I don't remember which song it was. I just remember him starting up a song and then getting frustrated and then just putting it down. Then he mumbled something 'bout "THat's okay, I'm gonna go on even though my guitar went out." Or something like that.

Maybe that was the Sly Stone-type jam when he was encouraging everyone to do the "soul clap" and most of the crowd was looking at him like WTF?
