Great album!! I wonder if it would have been more popular if it had been released at a different time--most radio stations ignored it when it came out...

'In Our Lifetime',released in 1981,was the last album Marvin recorded for Motown, and it wasn't given a huge promotional push by the label. For his part,Marvin was pissed at Motown execs, who took some of the songs and had them remixed without his knowledge. The album has a few good songs, but it's not a masterpiece by any means, which is why it was ignored by radio.
