Just saw the promo for Lauryn Hill coming on tonite.
She was crying during one of her songs. Wow.

I had heard she has been going thru a lot of personal things for these last two years and luckily she didnt go what seems to be the normal route in the music business and turn to hard drugs but went right to her Bible and spiritual comfort which have always been a part of her life.

I will def tune in, naybe she'll talk about it, most likely she will sing about it too like at The Essence Awards.

Did anybody see this show? Has it come on yet? I heard it was an emotional show,with Lauryn crying at one point,and making the audience cry along with her! She has no band....it's just her and her acoustic guitar,playing a bunch of songs that are so new,many of them don't even have titles yet! Lauryn Hill is AMAZING!!!!

DavidEye, this show was incredible. Just saw it.

I loved it and love her spirit and soul! I wanted to run up there and just give her a big ole hug when she cried! I think everyone did but folks were respectful and you could tell she has to let it out. It was purifying for her and me too!

The whole show was emotional and real, she said the fantasy is over, this is the real her.

She poured her heart out. I cant say enuf about it other then I hope they show it again on MTV, that CD I hope comes out soon too the unplugged version.

She is real. cool sistah. God Bless Lauryn Hill! She has overcome some serious obstacles.
