Essence Fest and New Edition ?

Alright since I cannot seem to find any info about this out there, was anyone at the Essence Festival?

I was just wondering if New Edition played there. I also heard that this thing was supposed to air on Fox... anybody know when?

New Edition performed on the Tuesday before the Essence festival began in Chicago. It was a free concert at the Taste of Chicago.
