One of my faves from the box set entitled The Master: "When Did You Stop Loving Me, When Did I Stop Loving You?"
Very personal lyrics, heartfelt delivery. Straight up, honest Marvin.

There are just way too many to list. I love every single Marvin Gaye song I've ever heard. His voice is so pure and beautiful and his lyrics are incredibly profound. I have a 4 cd boxed set along with several other cd's and I never get tired of any of them. It's such a shame that Marvin's old man was so screwed up!

There are so many...this is like picking a list of my favorite Prince songs. Once I get started, I might as well just post a link to the man's entire discography.
There will simply never be another like Marvin. I still can't listen to the Here, My Dear album without getting choked up. Anna's Song cuts like a knife: "Anna...Anna... Aaaaannaaaaah!" The way he sings/screams her name, you can feel years of love, hate, pain, rejection, anguish and longing packed into two syllables. The Normal Whores Club

I love EVERYTHING he ever did. But recently, I found and have been listenin to one of my mom's old vinyls of him singing Forever (1964). Y'all remember that one? They did WHAT??!....

Was never a Marvin Gaye fan, but I do have two songs that I really liked.
I Want You My Mistake (duet with dianna ross) I can be a true friend, or a worthy adversary. The choice is yours.
