Abierman and I went to the The Pixies concert in the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam....

Even though I am not a big fan (I can not supply you with any setlist) I can let you know the concert was amazing.

The set was awfully tight and energetic. Bass player Deal (Kim or kelly, I always forget) was SO good it made me wanna jump all of the time.

Frank Black was v ery good at being Frank Black. Fun thing was that they never acknowledged the crowd. They played, did one return, then left.

Good thing was that there were TWO other acts!

Opening act was Snow Patrol, a band SOME rave about, but live they were so-so. Opened strong, then got boring and repetitious quick.

And at the end of the concert Nettie Serveert played the upstairs lounge. And their set was also great.

So two and a half great concerts in one. And ringing ears. And a headache...Ouch.

I understand why Bowie is such a fan of them. They are amazing. Really sumthing for me to catch during their bleedin farewell tour.

At the Bettie Serveert show, singer Carol van Dijk, blew a kiss at me!!!!! Haha, I was being stupid screaming that I love her!
This was also a great show!

Had a fun-night with Gooey, we did some serious drinking and saw that monkey go to heaven!

I saw them at the Rock Werchter festival in Belgium
last weekend, totally brilliant...2 bad bowie cancelled though..
That would have been the icing on the cake...Thank god
PJ Harvey was there she performed a very intense set..
