Make backup copies of your CDs!!!!

My backpack was stolen over the weekend mad I didn't lose anything of serious consequence thank god. I did have a CD case which held about 40 CDs and the majority of those were CD copies. I had very few original CDs in there that I hadn't made backup copies of. This would have been much worse had I not made copies and all my source CDs were stolen.

I wish the worst for that fuckin thief hammer

oh man, that happened to me once - i got some shit stolen from my apartment and one of the items was a CD wallet full of music. it was all pretty much replaceable, save for a limited edition st. etienne import CD that i'll most likely never see again and i'm sure my robber friend didn't even realize was a rarity. mad

my cousin's flat was robbed when he was on holiday "bastards", well he lost a lot o cd's. in one o his prince disc's he had placed his ticket from the aftershow party gig at kentish town in 1993. he was obviously upset at losing the cd's but esspecially the tik as it was a great memento of a truly wonderful gig !!!.

i remembered that eileen murton of controversy had given us the tiks at wembley and security stopped her given them all out !, so i asked her if there were any spares remember this was months after the show , low and behold she sent me a replacement , so that cheered up cuzzin neil a little ! lol

this little tale wont bring ur cd's back supa, but i thought i'd let u in on it anyway !

This happened to me once.I lost about $600 worth of cd's. I even had some cool bootlegs in there. I have since re-purchased everythinga nd gotten bootleg copies replaced with the help of a purple friend. This is when I invested in mp3 players and mini discs. If one of my players gets stolen I still have my 'puter,cd copies, and the source cds.I also still have another device or 2.I have 3 mp3 players and a mini disc player. I'm actually thinking about getting another mp3 player.I just love the damned things. They are expensive, but I work very hard for my musical needs.I have no kids right now so I can do that.

This is very irritating.I know you aid you lost all copies, but if you ever need copies of anything just lemme know.Thieves suck! And the cd's they stole, they probably won't even know what to do with them!!

Yep, happened to me too. Left a load of CDs in the car, went to an Erasure concert, came back and they were gone. My ATWIAD 24K gold CD was in there too....bastards.

If you need some files, let me know.

Sorry, Supa.

About 6 years ago, my car was broken into while it sat in my parking garage. I had 3 brand new shirts taken, plus my workout shoes, and 16 CDs, including Crystal Ball, Kind of Blue, Best of Roy Ayers and Embrya. The next day, as I am driving my rental car, I see a homeless guy across the street wearing one of my new shirts. Unfortunately for me, and fortunately for him wink he was too far away to catch. So I feel your pain.

In any event, that's why iTunes is a wonderful device, even if you don't have an iPod. You can store your music library on your hard drive.
