One of my faves from the box set entitled The Master: "When Did You Stop Loving Me, When Did I Stop Loving You?"
Very personal lyrics, heartfelt delivery. Straight up, honest Marvin. thumbs up!

"T" Stands for Trouble
Trouble Man
The entire Let's Get It On Album
Jan
The entire I Want You Album
Got to Give it Up (long version)
The entire Here My Dear Album particularly You Can Leave But It's Going to Cost You

There are just way too many to list. I love every single Marvin Gaye song I've ever heard. His voice is so pure and beautiful and his lyrics are incredibly profound. I have a 4 cd boxed set along with several other cd's and I never get tired of any of them. It's such a shame that Marvin's old man was so screwed up!

There are so many...this is like picking a list of my favorite Prince songs. Once I get started, I might as well just post a link to the man's entire discography.

There will simply never be another like Marvin.

I still can't listen to the Here, My Dear album without getting choked up. Anna's Song cuts like a knife: "Anna...Anna... Aaaaannaaaaah!" The way he sings/screams her name, you can feel years of love, hate, pain, rejection, anguish and longing packed into two syllables.
