Does anyone have the Deluxe Edition of the Diana album? It's interesting to hear the original Chic remixes. She contended that the original mixes seemed like Diana Ross singing backup on a Chic album. After hearing both versions of each song, I'd say she was right to have them remixed.

The second disc of remixes is also good. My only disappointment with that disc is that it doesn't have the better version of Lovin' Livin' and Givin' that appeared on the Thank God It's Friday album. I've never been a fan of the fade-in wannabe I Feel Love intro that starts the track.

I can keep in open-mind up to Billie Holiday's music, I VERY snoppy when it comes to Lady Day & her songs.

For years,I had heard about the original 'Diana' album produced by Chic,and how Diana secretly had it remixed without telling Bernard and Niles...lol....they weren't too happy about that.But I do prefer the remixed version,which brings out Diana's vocals a little more.It's great to have both mixes of the album.As for the second disc of remixes...I adore the LONG,LONG version of "Love Hangover".
