Just when I thought Lenny Kravitz could not fall off any harder I see him singing his new song in a Target commercial?

well, this is new to me, I dont watch a lot of television, maybe Im just mad cuz Im a artist myself and I was fired from Target back in the day.

I still think it's some tacky shit, I don't care who's done it. I have yet to see it but my friend told me about it. 2 shit albums, the permed hair, now this

Well,at least the commercial is more exciting than his music videos

I haven't seen the commercial but I thought this was another thread about his new album.

I keep listening and hoping it will get better but it doesn't.

Well, I would be outraged. Prince is far beyond all that kind of shit IMO. But, seeing others do it doesn't bother me too much. It bothers me to see Bob Dylan doing Victoria Secret because Bob is such a genius, but Lenny and Madonna are just regular artists. I know that sounds crazy, but that's the way I feel. I like Lenny very much, but he's no where near on par with Prince.

I'm saying some people are making a big deal out Lenny selling his music and image (he's sold his two biggest hits already so I don't know what they expect)) so I just pointed out that Prince isn't above selling out. I never said they were the same thing but he did in fact sell out commercially for money.

Besides I'm glad he did it because we got a new cd to listen to out of the deal.

I just saw this tonight.It was a little embarrassing. He seems above that,but I guess the paycheck was too good. He's got all those houses and women to pay for.I don't think this has gained him any new fans. He seems a little lost to me right now. i saw that commercial too.TWICE!

is it just me,or does his head look too big for the perm?

I saw him perform two nights back, the hair was somewhat less in check (which was a good thing) and his performace was actually enjoyable (much more so than when i saw him a few years back).

Favorite moment of the night: the girl in front of me, frontrow, who yells at the top of her lungs inbetween songs: Take off your glasses, moron!!
He actually took them off, with the words Is that better, honey?. Mayb his attitude did improve?

I'm glad Prince doesn't wear shades on stage any more. Just thought I'd say that.
