I think i am ready for a album like News, without conventional song structures and lots of parts and still good melodies and hooks like musicology. It is the sound i am waiting for. Prince can do it, experimental songs with strong melodies, and great instrumental. I don´t want more POP records. musicology is good but we have decades of POP songs, it´s time for a new direction, he got a great band now, he could take advantage of that.
