I think we've heard more of purple rain (every concert I've been to) than the beautiful ones.
The Beautiful Ones remains a bit fresher. And When Doves Cry is his biggest, and maybe most critically praised hit, right? What an album though. Take Me With U ain't no poom poom or jughead. Check this song out at:

I agree with that top three, just not in that order. I would've had Purple Rain at #1, then Beautiful Ones at #2, and When Doves Cry at #3. Who cares though, all three songs are breathtaking. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.
