Hmmm...I don't know..I never heard that. I never really cared for the song, but when P performs it live, it sounds so much better too me.

Endorphinmachine - no question at all!!!! The album version is so watered down whereas live the guitar really bites and you can feel the weight and power behind it....i think i might like the recorded version better if it wasnt for that friggin cowbell

Anybody? It's still bugging me. What song is so great that it can be initialised along with I could never take the place of your man, yet PR still gets spelt out in full?

Put me out of my mysery, I am sure I will be banging head on wall when it's revealed.
RIP sad

Definetely "On The Couch". I really think he should never have released it on the album. This is a really charming one to play live, but it just lacks energy when seperated from the crowd in a studio version.

Everything from New Poer Soul.

And even then it sounds like after party material.

ITA..I couldn't wait to listen to the recorded version, after hearing it at the simulcast. Needless to say, I was kind of disappointed. It sounded so good live. I almost didn't recognize it when I heard the recorded version.

My Picks are - All of em, every song. The studio jams are great, but P always seems to take his songs to a new level when they are done live, a LOT more energy.

I like the song "Musicology" better live and the horns sound and work really great in that song but I really hate the way he butchered up "Let's Go Crazy" with the horns. That is a hard rock jam and he jazzed it up. To me that just ruined the song.

"Shhh" and "The One". These were the first two that came to mind 1st. I know it's some more though.

Oh yes and Musicology! That track is so much better live. He jazzes it up considerably with horns and such. Don't know why he didn't just do it like that on the album in the first place...

Musicology is a very good example. I also think The One is much much better live than on the album, I was blown away by the version of the recent tour.
