My mom doesn't like Prince, and I like it that way. The last thing I'd need is to hear my mom playing the 1999 album and singin' along to "I sincerely wanna fuck the taste outta your mouth".

My Mom was the one who introduced me to prince, I will never forget her face when i asked her who did Kiss first Tom Jones or Prince, SHE WENT MAD ( b4 u all hate me i have come along way since that mistake)

I can't wait for Prince to hit the UK, My mom will be right there next to me Dancing away like a loony grinning and singing along. My mom's just great.

I remember my mother went through a religious phase in 1981 after the death of her boyfriend. She became obsessed with religion, kinda like Prince is now.

I was out one afternoon and she went through my record collection because she wanted me to make her a tape. She thumbed through the records and and stopped when she got to "Controversy". She liked the song "Controversy" from the radio so she flipped the album over and read the track names on the back. She didn't listen to the album, the song titles were enough to get her feathers ruffled...."Sexuality", "Do Me, Baby", "Private Joy", "Let's Work", and the one that floored her....."Jack U Off"!

When I came home, she was sitting on the couch with the album in her hand. She said "What the hell is this!" She threw a damned fit!

Nevertheless, the next year she found another boyfriend and her religious obsession just mysteriously disappeared. Maybe Prince will snap out of it too.
