I always thought Habibi was the first gold version of his symbol guitar. But some people think it is the purple version. Anyone want to clear this up?

i'm sure it refers to any number of the symbol shaped guitars. i've heard of both purple and gold being referred to as thus.

I'm sure Fhunkin's correct - the gold symbol guitar existed before the purple version emerged.

I think the first time the purple one was shown was on the official website when it was referred to by the name 'Habibi', the first time the name had been used.

"Habibi" does mean "my love"- but is used when referring to people that you love, including family members and/or relatives. It is basically a term of affection.
