Hardly ever listen to PR, but honestly love every song on it and think they're all great. I consider the first 4 to be equally good, the next 2 to be equally good, and the last 3 to be equally good, so my ranking is something like this:

I have to say, though, that "When Doves Cry" was my favorite for about 15 of these last 20 years, and "Let's Go Crazy" just kept getting better and better to me (I think it's the guitar work). This is also why I had to put "Doves" just above "Baby I'm a Star," which I hate putting that low because it's one of the best of the bunch live...a real crowd-pleaser and a song to pump me up. As far as danceable tunes and the album, "Star" is my favorite.

This was really tough! 1-4 are all #1s to me. And I dig ALL of the rest.

That was tough! If Purple Rain and LGC are not at the top of your list it is just because you have heard them so much. One of the best Ballads and pure Rock and Roll songs ever written.
