I think I heard Prince has sold around 35 Million Albums in total..

but what did each album sell? how many units

okay, here we go again. somebody's mixing US album sales with total sales. Prince's total sales are an estimated 64 million.

I know some, but those figures keep on growing, you know? Prince's back catalog sells approx. 1 to 2 million a year so it's hard to tell.

however... an interesting fact: the black album sold a well over 250,000 copies in the bootleg market even before making it as an official release. the official ranks at 500,000 - but then again it was a limited release.
