I just happened to tune in...it's sort of lame but was Prince ever mentioned? There up to #50. It's like the best sountrack - singles of all time, including - Irene Cara - What a Feeling, and Rocky. Anyone checking it out?

I saw it from #80 or so on down to #1. Some good stuff on there, mostly classic standards and musicals represented, but no Prince....

Unless he was in the 80 to 100 range, he's not on here. I'm pretty surprised, because that final scene in Purple Rain and that song made for a pretty big movie moment.

Purple Rain deserved to be on this list. I would put it somewhere in the top 10, above the Bee Gee's "Stayin Alive".

These lists suck ass. I was none too happy see Eminem on the list but not Prince when it's obvious that Purple Rain influenced 8 Mile. That's Bullshit.

I had an issue with the songs sung vs. soundtrack stff. I thought it should have been seperated. The top 10 had issues too. Moon River? The way we were? I love that song but top 10? White Chistmas..please!

As I said the combo of people singing - musical sand such and soundtrack stuff - like the Bee gees SNF soundtrack threw it off. I am not even sure how a song got nominated or what the criteria was for this list.

I don't see Hard Days Night on there anywhere or Help either. These lists are stupid and useless but for some idiodic reason it does bother me when they overlook such obvious choices.
