Is there anyone here that dislikes the majority of the songs that the Org praises?(eg. "Moonsbeem Level", "In All My Dreams", "Grand Progression", "Electric Intercourse", etc, etc, etc.)

i'm not so keen on all my dreams - it's okay, but nothing special. same goes for "in a dark room with no light" which gets a lot of praise from some.

the others you mention i'm a big fan of though.

Yep on all of those save for All my dreams...simply for the composition...thought even I can't listen to that song all that often due to it over the top feel...but there is genius involved in that song none the less.

And I try try try to like TGE (and I'll try again) and capture the complete genius of it, but I have a hard time with a alot of the songs and the constant drum solo something that opens each track. And I have a problem with the operator. I tried to get that bitch fired upon many occasion but Kristie Alley was having none of it.

I don't want to mention Emancipation. 2 words...one disk.

All My Dreams is Prince in glorious technicolor with a wrap around screen. It is over the top by design, an epic sonic journey much like Crystal Ball and Mountains. Listening to it, you can almost see a Yellow Submarine-inspired video with the Revolutions.

And don't get me started about Electric Intercourse, one of the sweetest expression of lustful yearning Prince has composed. It's poignant from the very first notes. Yes, it's kinda melodramatic melodically, but see The Beautiful Ones, Purple Rain, Adore -- this is what a yearning song is supposed to sound like, it's just that few performers can do it as nakedly as Prince.

It more probably is the cheese-factor. And the fact that I can't picture him saying this to any woman AND meaning it. And I
