extra scene from the muppet show????? Remeber when prince on the muppet show when disney aired it back in 97??? Well during the 97 image awards (I think that was the one where Stevie Wonder presented Prince the award) they showed a whole bunch of tv clips. One scene was from the muppet show. The scene showed a puppet asking prince if he ever worked with a dummy before??? prince answer yes but in my industry they are called record producers (this never aired on the disney broadcast) anybody caught that??? any info????

The famous deleted scene from the muppet show. Latter on Prince and Miss Piggy go off to a barn, then it starts to rain....

This show is a bit over rated. I have had it on Video for years. The only thing amusing in it is that he's on it, he's about the same size as the muppets and they use the symbol for his name. I suppose it's special cuz it's the muppets and all. I didn't find it to be terribly funny. More so that they both needed a hit at the same time. I found it odd that they would have him on a kids show.
Though I do remember that scene you describe...was it edited back in for the re-run?Maybe it's on my copy? I know saying this is like saying Lovesaexy is horrible but don't hate me Christian Zombie Vampires

I thought it was cute as all hell, although at the very end of the show, why the fuck does Prince point his fingaz at the camera like a gun and blow it away tryin 2 act all cool n chit?
i thought it just made him look a dick - kids tv show, and he goes pretends 2 pull a trigger. i know, i know, it was just an spontaeneous thang, but still... freakin' wierd. made me go: WTF!

i don't see nothing weird on pulling a imaginary trigger on a kids show. i don't think kids will think it is cool to shot his little friends because of this.

I fell off my chair when I saw that promo pic of Prince in overalls with hay comin out of his mouth. This was before I found out about him being on the Muppets. I thought it was just his new look.

It was about as strange as when I saw James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) on Sesame Street.

yeah, i saw the outtakes. There was one part when he was talking to a muppet and laughed, it was an adorable laugh.ok maybe i didn't need to mention that, but he seemed all relaxed and happy.

"bavarian pretzels" the copy i have has this "deleted" scene in it. ""but where i come from we call them executives" Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Disney I guess censored the scene -- deleted it from the broadcast -- because of the sentivity of the remark of dummies relating to record executives.
I have a promo copy from Los Angeles and it has everything on it but no commercials. As well I was given in a trade with a friend the Hebrew airing of the Muppets Show and it has the "dummy" scene. Basically, it's America and American TV, well, family programming cable. Disney is family and it is owned by ABC and the Muppets are aimed at kids.
