I ALWAYS skip Raspberry Beret. It just doesn't do it for me. I think I don't like it because my 6th grade bus driver used to have it on every single morning while taking me to school. I think he did it to death and I now suffer the reprecussions.

me too...until one day I wasn't paying attention and had the headphones on and the end of the song cues and I snap to attention at that moment to catch a brilliant ending to a song. I pay attention to it a lot more now.

not crazy about electric intercourse. not crazy about grand progression. not crazy about extra loveable. they're okay, i guess. i just don't know why people dig those songs so much, other than the fact that they're rare and unreleased and whatnot. shrug

i REALLY don't like "free" from 1999. never liked it at all.

I HATE La La La Hee Hee Hee....the 12 inch is interesting because of the bass playing but still..probably my least favorite song of his ever. And yes, I do like Jughead more!!

Hmmm, fan favourites, I can't really think of any I dislike, although I'm not too kean on 'When The Lights Go Down' - although, I have to say, I probably haven't listened to that album since it's release - maybe I should give it whirl.

Commercial hits that I never listen to are many: Cream, Gett Off, MBGITW, Gold, Musicology, Kiss, Baby I'm A Star...

cool Purple Rain I like the song & all but i would not be upset if he decided for some strange reason not to perform it anymore. The same about the album. I am not saying that i did not like it....i just do not consider it as the best work he has done. music

The song drags...personally the whole album was a dissapointment after PR and eveything that came before it. But I still love listening to his music.

To the person that doesn't care for Extra loveable, view it from a perspective of a female that was heavily influenced sexually by Prince's lyrics. That covers the rape verse. The beat is good, so one can dance to it and he disses an ex-band member which is pretty funny.

I don't like Housequake either. nod

Housequake is overrated, especially the album version. It ain't all that funky.

Around the World In a Day, the album, is also praised more than it should be around here. I like it, but people tend to overstate it's importance just because it was the Revolution and was sandwiched between two of Prince's greatest albums. It's good, not great.

As for All My Dreams, that is one of my favorite songs so if the majority is with me, the majority rules on that one. smile

I don't think there's a Prince song that I hate-- unless La, La, ... Means I Love U and Betcha By Golly Wow count. smile Jughead is dangerously close. Oh, what's that song on Grafitti Bridge? Lovemachine? I can't stand that song, but these aren't majority favorites, so I digress....
